Excellent rankings for NJORD Law Firm – Chambers Global 2017

Once again, Chambers Global has ranked NJORD Law Firm − in both Denmark, Estonia, and Sweden for our global expert knowledge of dispute resolution, intellectual property, and corporate law. We are proud to see our continuously ranked partners joined by new up and coming partners.

According to the recently published Chambers Global 2017, NJORD Law Firm’s Danish Dispute Resolution practice is mentioned as a “prominent practice with a strong track record in disputes related to insurance, maritime and media law”.

In addition, for the fourth year in a row, the Danish IP practice as well as Practice Head, Partner Jeppe Brogaard Clausen, is ranked in the Chambers directory:

Two new NJORD partners commended

This year, we are also pleased to see two new partners among the highlighted lawyers.

Type 2 diabetes not recognized as a disability in Denmark

Type 2 diabetes by itself does not constitute a disability covered by the Danish Act on Prohibition against Discrimination on the Labour Market. This has just been determined by the Eastern Division of the Danish High Court, however, in its judgment opening the way for interpreting that the sequela Charcot foot may constitute a disability within the meaning of the Act.
