Miriam Michaelsen is specialised in individual and collective employment law, and she advises and assists both Danish and international enterprises as regards negotiation, legal proceedings, contract and commercial law.

Miriam Michaelsen excels at conveying complex legislative matters into clear, accessible and usable knowledge, based on which she has advised on and taught employment law and HR to Danish and international enterprises on an ongoing basis for the last ten years.

She often acts as back office for HR departments with professional as well as personal counselling.

As part of NJORD’s Company Law team, Miriam Michaelsen also assists clients with legal advice on company law, including purchase and sale of companies, etc.

Miriam Michaelsen has compiled her knowledge of all aspects of HR and employment law in NJORD’s HR eBogen, which is a law section free digital HR tool.

Miriam Michaelsen also heads NJORD’s multi-disciplinary legal team, which advises on and conducts legal actions regarding illegal sharing of photos and film with offensive content on the internet. Dependent on facts, the cases concern claims for penalty, damages and compensation pursuant to e.g. the Danish Penal Code, the Danish Consolidated Act on Copyright, the Danish Data Protection Act, the Danish Marketing Practices Act, and the general law of damages.

In this connection, she has founded the association Digitalt Ansvar (DIGA), which among other things works to achieve up-to-date legislation and efficient investigation of digital criminal offences. Read more about DIGA
